		<description>It is indeed a concern and a constructive balance needs to be found before private security becomes a better option than constabulary forces. While private security directly or indirectly plays an important and growing role in our daily life, public policing is an indispensable and pragmatic projection of state authority that needs to be nurtured and preserved. A motivated police officer on the beat conveys a stronger meaning of security and well-being to communities at large than thousand statistics and reports.</description>
