Commenting as the SNP reverses its opposition to an independent Scotland joining NATO, North East Fife MP Sir Menzies Campbell said:
“The position of the SNP is extraordinary.
“The anti-nuclear party has voted to join the world’s most powerful nuclear alliance. If they think the voters will not see through this they are very much mistaken.
“You can’t get any more contradictory than the SNP’s current position.”
