North East Fife Liberal Democrat MP Ming Campbell attended the recent Subpostmasters Lobby of Parliament and met with Colin Baker the Secretary General of the National Federation of Subpostmasters and Elie Subpostmaster Graham Meacher who is the Secretary of the Scotland Regional Council of the National Federation.
Commenting Ming Campbell said
I was very pleased to hear first hand the concerns of the subpostmasters about the future of the post office network. Post Offices are a tremendous asset and many small or rural communities, such as in North East Fife, rely on the local Post Office providing a range of services which then in turn help to sustain the local shop.
