Liberal Democrat MP for North East Fife Sir Menzies Campbell was today accompanied by the Prime Minister, David Cameron, and Scottish Secretary Michael Moore on a visit to the Cupar plant where Scott’s porridge oats are manufactured.
Speaking after the visit Sir Menzies said:
“Today’s announcement of a further significant investment in the mill and the creation of new jobs is good news for Cupar and Fife. Quaker is one of our success stories but its influence extends far beyond Cupar because of the remarkable contribution it makes to U.K. exports. Its products are sold throughout the world, with a particular emphasis in expanding markets like the Middle East.â€
