North East Fife MP Sir Menzies Campbell paid a visit to Cupar’s Royal Mail Delivery Office to meet staff who are working hard to sort and deliver the huge volumes of Christmas post.
Sir Menzies toured the facility with Delivery Office Manager Derek McAughey and met with staff.
Commenting on his visit Sir Menzies said:
“It was great to meet with staff and witness the massive Christmas operation first hand. The hard work done by all is very much appreciated.
“The Cupar delivery office estimates that they will process over 800,000 items throughout December. My visit was a real eye opener to the scale of the festive operation.
