Government must publish secret post office “hit list”

Today Ming Campbell travelled to Haddenham in Buckinghamshire, where he visited a local post office and called for the Government to reveal its secret “hit list” of post offices planned for closure. Post office closures in the county mean that many customers – most of them pensioners – are now forced to travel greater distances to find a post office.

Ming said:

“Communities up and down the country are deeply worried about losing their local post office and this government is deliberately concealing the details of the post office closures until after the local elections.

“The Government must come clean and produce details of its post office closures immediately.

“Labour and the Conservatives have failed to support this vital network. Only the Liberal Democrats have fully funded proposals for investing an extra £2 billion into the Post Office network.”

I just thought I’d point out that you need to add an “n” to “Goverment” in the title of the post.

    A splendid suggestion. Thank you.
